Description
- Create and oversee implementation of plans to drive key performance indicators (service, sales and employee satisfaction) to maximize profitability
- Influence and drive brand appropriate strategic merchandising to maximize sales
- Drive brand loyalty my empowering team to create an outstanding customer experience
- Champion community involvement efforts to drive brand awareness and loyalty
- Develop and execute store operations and processes consistently
- Establish and lead employee talent attraction and retention efforts (recruitment, training, development, coaching, etc.) to maximize employee engagement
- Reports to Head of Stores, Athleta Division
- Interacts closely with Athleta leadership team
- Works with other business owners in local community

Qualifications
- Passion for delivering exceptional customer service - everyday
- Understands the holistic athletic 'mind set' (mind, body, spirit) - innately understands the journey associated with a short or long-term goal, and the concessions, sacrifices, commitments made to achieve those goals
- Leads through coaching and motivation.  Can build a winning team filled to achieve the same end-goal.
- Sets a compelling vision and manage successes and failings along the journey in a highly collaborative fashion
- Demonstrates ability to build and maintain strong, business-oriented relationships with leaders at all levels
- Possesses a strong visual merchandising sense; knows the power of styling to drive customer satisfaction
- 5 years retail experience, small business owner/entrepreneurial experience a plus
- Strong emphasis in customer service industry or field leadership
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, including nights and weekends

Secondary Duties and Responsibilities
These functions are not essential to performing the basic function of this position for ADA purposes.  All associates are not required to be able to perform these responsibilities to be considered or hired for this position.  However, these responsibilities must be performed by some associates in the store.  Associates who are able to perform these responsibilities are required to do so.

Merchandising
Participate in scheduled floor sets.  Perform daily store and product maintenance duties including shipments, markups/markdowns, return to stock and consolidations.  Rework floor/wall presentation to react to sales trends/inventory levels.  Implements VMU per company direction.

Store Maintenance
